Referee Steve Kozari goes off on Brandon Carlo during Game 7.
NHL referee Steve Kozari caught on a hot mic berating Brandon Carlo during Game 7 on Sunday night.
National Hockey League referee Steve Kozari may be in a little bit of hot water, but if that is indeed the case he will have no one to blame but himself.
On Sunday night, during Game 7 between the Boston Bruins and Florida Panthers, Kozari was caught berating Bruins defenseman Brandon Carlo after he was called for a penalty a little over midway through the first period.
During his interaction with Carlo, Kozari can be heard going on an expletive laden tirade against the Bruins defenseman one that contains several words we won't repeat here.
"Don't test me. Don't f***ing test me," Kozari can be heard yelling at Carlo. "Don't do s*** afterwards."
The only reason the audio was picked up at all was due to the fact that Kozari turned his mic on too early so, once again, he's got no one to blame but himself.
