The Detroit Red Wings are officially in a slump after having dropped six of their last seven games; ironically, this unfortunate stretch comes after having won six of seven.

They lost a pair of players during Monday night's game against the Anaheim Ducks in both Ville Husso and Klim Kostin, and the team declared that both players were considered "week to week" with their respective ailments. The Red Wings made it official this morning, placing Husso on Injured Reserve.

The Red Wings had just gotten Dylan Larkin back from Injured Reserve on Monday.

Because Husso is now on Injured Reserve, he'll be missing a minimum of seven days and four games. Tonight, the Red Wings take on the Winnipeg Jets at Canada Life Centre, with James Reimer getting the nod between the pipes.
