Puck Prose lists most likely destination for Marc-Andre Fleury!

This would be an interesting trade, to say the least.

Veteran goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury may have appeared in his final game with the Chicago Blackhawks last night, an admirable 46-save effort against the Boston Bruins in a 2-1 overtime setback at United Center.

The NHL Trade Deadline is less than a week away, and Fleury has been one of the most talked about names listed as potential possibilities of being moved.

And while Fleury has stated that he's hesitant to be traded again due to family reasons (which is understandable given the fact that he doesn't want to have to move his family for the second time in less than a year), he is on the record as saying he wants at least one more shot at the Stanley Cup. And according to one media outlet, there is one destination that's more likely than the rest - and it would certainly come with a polarizing reaction: the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Take a look at their reasoning:

"With Jack Campbell going down with an injury and Petr Mrazek struggling the Maple Leafs could use a starter. Fleury would fit that position perfectly but it would take work for Toronto and Chicago to get a deal done.

Yes Fleury is older and his best days may be behind him but he gives Toronto that playoff-tested goaltender that they are lacking and one that could very well take them past the second round.

Campbell and Mrazek have not played well recently but Fleury has put up solid numbers behind a not-sp-great Chicago defense. Toronto has a cap hit of only $91,292 and the roster limit is full at 23/23. The Maple Leafs are 23rd in the league with a team save % of .905 and the team GAA is at 3.05."

It's no secret that the Maple Leafs are struggling in the crease, despite what general manager Kyle Dubas said earlier in the month that he wasn't concerned with his goaltending. Mrazek was even benched last night in favor of rookie Erik Kallgren, who pitched a shutout in his 1st NHL start.
