Predators destroy an angry fan on social media.

Ruthless.

The Nashville Predators are not having the best season and the move they made ahead of the National Hockey League's trade deadline suggests they are headed towards something of a rebuild, but that doesn't mean the Predators plan to be pushovers moving forward.

Over the weekend, the Predators demonstrated this fact when they ruthlessly destroyed an angry fan on social media. The fan in question decided to direct a vitriolic comment at the organization's Twitter account when he pointed out their lack of championship credentials and also referred to the city as "Trashville."

The Predators it would seem didn't take too kindly to their entire city of Nashville being disrespected in this fashion, so they decided to put the fan in his place. The Predators of course weren't going to respond with any kind of inflammatory language, but instead they fired back by pointing to the fans' own hockey credentials.

Needless to say they certainly weren't NHL worthy, and that was apparently enough of a humiliation to make the fan vanish off the internet entirely. The reason you're seeing a screenshot of his original tweet above as opposed to the tweet itself is due to the fact that the response from the Predators made him delete his account.
