Pierre-Luc Dubois linked to blockbuster trade deal.

There are reports emerging of a potentially massive trade deal, one that would involve a minimum of 3 National Hockey League players and more.

Earlier today I touched on a rumored 3 player trade between the Winnipeg Jets and the Los Angeles Kings, one that would involve Jets forward Pierre-Luc Dubois, Kings forward Gabe Vilardi, and Kings defenseman Alex Iafallo. There was some question about whether or not this would be some type of sign and trade deal but it now seems clear that it will be, and that it will be a much bigger trade as a result.

Murat Ates of The Athletic has reported that Dubois and the Kings are already engaged in contract extension talks, something that clearly points to a sign and trade in the works.

This potential deal is getting even more interesting though with the latest on what is starting to sound like a potential blockbuster deal coming to us courtesy of Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press. According to McIntyre, there are additional pieces on both sides of this deal with both the Jets and the Kings having more involved here than previously reported.

Sportsnet's Ken Wiebe has speculated that Jets forward Jansen Harkins might also be a part of his deal and Kings goaltender Joonas Korpisalo could both be a part of this deal.
