(PHOTO): Star player returns to practice today.

I guess 12 weeks was the worst case scenario. After Patrick Kane suffered a broken collarbone, the Chicago Blackhawks star was initially supposed to miss 12 weeks of action. Well it appears that his recovery is going strong because he is practicing right now, only 5 weeks later. Kane can’t return during the regular season due to salary-cap constraints, but he’s fairly clearly ahead of schedule if he’s practicing with his teammates. He was sporting a white no-contact jersey.
