It was great news earlier this month when it was reported that Philadelphia Flyers forward Oskar Lindbolm has completed his treatments for bone cancer. The young player was diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma in December, and no one could predict how he would react to treatments.
Lindblom’s doctors have told the young forward/“it couldn’t have gone any better for him” and now he is setting his mind on getting game game ready.
On Tuesday, the Flyers shocked everyone by posting a picture of Lindblom skating with teammates at their practice facility.
It was moving to see him happy and moving and you bet Flyers and their fanbase are getting more and more motivated to win the Stanley Cup for him.
And the kid looks good, look at him go:
The 23-year-old was tied for the Flyers’ team lead with 11 goals when he was diagnosed and missed the rest of the suspended season.
We are so happy to hear this and can’t wait to see when he can return to action.
