NHL unveils preview of the 2023 Bruins vs Pens Winter Classic.

The National Hockey League is now only just a few short weeks away from the 2023 Winter Classic that will be held on January 2nd at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts. It will feature a game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the hometown Boston Bruins, and as you might expect several months of planning have gone into what will no doubt be a gigantic endeavor.

On Monday, the league released a preview of what they expect the grounds at Fenway Park to look like once they have transformed the the home of the Boston Red Sox into something more suitable for an NHL hockey game. 

The whole set up in the mock up looks beautiful but I suspect it will pale in comparison to the real thing. Perhaps my favorite touches are the team logos along the edges of the baseball diamond, something that I hope comes across well on the actual broadcast of the game.
