Most embarrassing part of Bruins’ blowout loss to Jets exposed and fans are brutal!
Emotions boiled over not only on the ice, but behind the benches and led to this. Watch below:
It was an intense end of a game on Tuesday night when the Winnipeg Jets crushed the Boston Bruins 8-1. When the Jets were leading 6-1, Bruins’ Trent Frederic attempted to spark his team by dropping the gloves with Jets forward David Gustafsson. And boy did he drop with one big punch.
Things boiled over from there with more fights taking place. Mark Kastelic and Logan Stanley fought right after Frederic and Gustafsson’s scrap ended. Both players were handed game misconducts. Nikita Zadorov also fought Adam Lowry right after the following faceoff.
Emotions got quite intense behind the benches as well when coaches started yelling at one another. Jets bench boss Scott Arniel was shouting at the Bruins’ bench and Bruins interim head coach Joe Sacco did not seem to know what the heck was going on. Sacco can be seen asking Arniel “who me?” Then it looks like Arniel says “no, him” pointing at assistant coach Chris Kelly off camera to Sacco’s left.
And Sacco simply disengages.
Fans were quick to point out that Sacco’s lack of response and intensity on the bench was the most embarrassing thing about last night’s 8-1 blowout loss to the Jets.
After the game, when asked about any communication between the benches, Sacco denied all of it.
“No, not that I know of,” Sacco told reporters, per team-provided audio.
Some fans didn't like Sacco's attitude and thought it was the most embarrassing thing in that game.
The Bruins will face off against the Jets again on Jan. 30 and their fans are hoping by then they will have gotten back on track.
