Minnesota Wild general manager Bill Guerin has had a busy offseason, re-signing forwards Mats Zuccarello and Marcus Foligno along with goaltender Filip Gustavsson.
And now, reports indicate that he's on the verge of locking up another one of Minnesota's core players. Ryan Hartman is entering the final year of the three-year deal he signed in 2021, and has emerged as one of their top forwards since his career-best output of 34 goals in 2021-22.
According to Elliotte Friedman, Hartman's extension will be for three years with a handsome raise on his current AAV of $1.7 million:
In 506 career NHL games with the Chicago Blackhawks, Philadelphia Flyers and Wild, Hartman has scored 107 goals with 127 assists.
