Matvei Michkov has done it again and Michkovmania is running wild in Philadelphia!

The Philadelphia Flyers have something special on their hands with rookie forward Matvei Michkov.

On Saturday night the Flyers were battling the St. Louis Blues in a very close game, so close in fact that regulation wasn't enough time to determine a winner resulting in both teams going to overtime with the score tied 2-2.

The overtime frame however wouldn't last long, less than 30 seconds in fact, and that was due to the fact that Michkov was on the ice for the Flyers, After an offensive zone turnover from the Blues, Michkov found himself 1 on 1 with Blues goaltender Jordan Binnington and he made no mistakes. Michkov outraced the defender trying to chase him down and put a move on Binnington that fooled the Blues veteran netminder, beating him glove side with 4 minutes and 33 seconds still left in the overtime frame.

It was Michkov's third game winning goal of the season that has come during the overtime frame and it leaves no doubt about the fact that this kid has a serious killer instinct in him.

Last week Michkov had delivered an epic quote about moments where the game is on the line and on his stick, and he backed up those words in a big way tonight.

Here is a look at the replay of the goal itself:
