The bad news for the Detroit Red Wings is seemingly continuing to pile on. Already having to deal with multiple injuries as well as the absence of Jakub Vrana (NHLPA Player Assistance Program), there's a chance that one key forward could face discipline from the National Hockey League.
It was announced earlier this morning that forward Michael Rasmussen will be having a hearing with the NHL due to his high sticking incident against Boston Bruins forward David Krejci during last night's 5-1 loss at TD Garden.
Rasmussen finished his check on Krejci and his follow through with the stick caught the Czech native in the face, causing him enough discomfort to force him from the game. Take a look at the play in question for yourself and see if this is worthy of additional discipline:
