Max Pacioretty goes after 6’7’’, 231 pound monster to defend John Tavares!

He does not give a damn this season! Check out his actions in tonight’s game!

Wow. Max Pacioretty is showing a whole new side to his game. On Wednesday night in the matchup against the Stars in Dallas, the veteran forward was intense and passionate.

In the first period, Pacioretty laid the body on Stars’ Mavrik Bourque, drawing a penalty on the play, with the Sportsnet’s panel later applauding the new flavour to his play, commenting:

“He has become this violent version of himself.”

Later in the game, in the second frame, John Tavares was caught and sent flying by 6’7’’, 231 pound Dallas defenseman Lian Bichsel and Pacioretty did not hesitate to call out the blue liner.

The play happened right behind him, but Pacioretty skated back and went straight to Bichsel to give him a death stare and let him know that he is in trouble for the remainder of the contest.

While nothing happen after the confrontation, you have to admit this is unusual in Pacioretty’s game, but I love it.
Where were all those hits and this attitude back when he started off with the Montreal Canadiens or after he was traded to the Vegas Golden Knights?

Pacioretty is going all out, and I have to say I love the look on him.
