Matt Rempe enters rockstar mode with female fans!

Look at the Rangers’ enforcer go!

In his first season in the National Hockey League, New York Rangers forward Matt Rempe quickly cemented himself as an enforcer. He only played 17 games in 2023-24 but he’s become fan favorite among Rangers fans and earning himself a host of fans from across the NHL as well.

He saw it first hand earlier this week when, walking out of training, he was asked by several fans for autographs, including several that wanted the Rangers’ forward to directly sign his name on their skin.

While most stretched their arm to get the ink on their arm or hand, two female fans took it a step further and asked Rempe to sign her neck and the other her face!

I mean that fanatic devotion right there. I am not sure I’d want to have his Sharpied name on my face though. The neck one could be original for a tattoo or something, but wouldn’t she want to wait and see what Rempe can do for more than just one season with the Rangers?

Rempe posted just one goal and one assists this past season. In 11 playoff games, Rempe’s most minutes were the 10:06 he played in Game 2 against the Florida Panthers in the EC Finals. By Game 5 of that series, Rempe played a mere 2:43 and was scratched for Game 6.

Still, it had not prevented him from getting wild fans wanting his name on their skin!
