While it certainly was an abysmal start to the season for veteran goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury, he's rebounded nicely, and is being honored by the National Hockey League for his efforts.
Fleury earned his 62nd career shootout win Sunday night against his former team in the Chicago Blackhawks, passing Hall of Famer Henrik Lundqvist in the process while stoning his old teammates Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane.
Fleury also had a bit of fun at the expense of Toews, waving at him on the ice after stopping his shootout attempt:
Fleury has been named the NHL's Third Star of the Week thanks to his 3-0-0 record in his past trio of outings with a 1.95 GAA and a .927 save percentage.
