Maple Leafs reportedly have asking price for William Nylander
But would the other side be willing?
HockeyFeed
By now, you’ve heard that the Toronto Maple Leafs have themselves a new general manager in the form of Brad Treliving, who was introduced to the media yesterday morning.
Based on comments that he made, it sounds as though the “Core 4” of John Tavares, William Nylander, Auston Matthews, and Mitch Marner are all going to be staying put, at least for now.
But the one player who seems to have his name popping up in speculative trade rumors is Nylander. And according to one particular Red Wings beat writer, the Maple Leafs would be requesting Detroit’s highest prized defenseman in Morris Seider in return as part of a hypothetical deal.
