Maple Leafs on the verge of a major move?

The Toronto Maple Leafs were able to overcome a great performance in net by Winnipeg Jets goaltender Laurent Brossoit, eventually triumphing by a 1-0 final score in overtime thanks to sniper Auston Matthew's winning goal. 

The win was also made possible by an impressive 32 save shutout from goaltender Ilya Samsonov, who had been waived earlier this season and delegated to the minors.

During last night's game, there were apparently several scouts from other NHL clubs on hand in the press box at Scotiabank Arena according to Insider David Pagnotta. He reported that there were scouts from the Anaheim Ducks, Arizona Coyotes, Buffalo Sabres, Carolina Hurricanes, Columbus Blue Jackets, Dallas Stars, Los Angeles Kings, Nashville Predators, and New Jersey Devils all on hand:
