Major surprise with the second overall pick at the NHL Draft!

The 2023 NHL Draft has officially begun as we all knew the Chicago Blackhawks were going to select generational talent Connor Bedard with the first overall pick.

However, with the second overall selection, the Anaheim Ducks stunned most fans by going with center Leo Carlsson, over who was expected to be the second overall pick Adam Fantilli.

It has recently been reported that the Ducks were really into Carlsson and they proved it by picking him with an early twist into the NHL Draft.
