It was regarded as one of the best venues in both the National Hockey League and National Basketball Association - but there's no denying the fact that it is quickly approaching its 25th birthday.
Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, formerly known as the Air Canada Centre, opened late in the 1998-99 season as a replacement for the historic Maple Leaf Gardens. And according to a news release earlier today, it will be getting some major renovations next offseason.
