The 2023-24 season may not be as successful as the Ottawa Senators and captain Brady Tkachuk hoped they would be, but the star forward still has something to celebrate.
On Wednesday morning, Tkachuk posted on his Instagram account that he and his wife Emma Farinacci are expected a baby boy in September. The couple posted a cake that read Baby Tkachuk and a picture of the two smiling with Tkachuk putting a hand on his wife’s tummy.
This happy news comes days after Tkachuk recorded the third hat trick of his career when he scored on the power play in overtime to help the Ottawa Senators beat the New York Islanders 4-3 on Saturday.
In 66 games this season as leader of the Senators, Tkachuk has recorded 31 goals and 57 points in total.
The Senators are back in action tomorrow when the St. Louis Blues visit Ottawa. That gives Tkachuk and Farinacci time to celebrate the news and have fans and friends congratulate them on this happy life-altering announcement.
