The bad news is that the Boston Bruins have been without the services of All-Star forward Brad Marchand for the first seven games of the young 2022-23 NHL Season. However, the good news is that they haven't seemed to miss him thanks to the strong play of veterans Patrice Bergeron, David Pastrnak and David Krejci, who have propelled them to a strong 6-1 record.
But the news gets better for fans of the Bruins. According to Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic, it won't be long before Marchand makes his regular season debut.
Marchand, who is recovering from off-season hip surgery, scored 32 goals with 48 assists last season for a total of 80 points while also contributing another seven points in 11 postseason games.
