Jake Guentzel & Tristan Jarry troll their All-Star interviews.

Classic.

The National Hockey League All-Star weekend can be a lot of fun, but the truth is that for long time fans of the sport you've already seen everything that the All-Star Game and the events that surround it have to offer. The fact that it lacks that truly competitive element can take a lot of the fun out of the event for many people and I suspect that is often why we see the players themselves bow out of the All-Star event altogether.

That being said there are still great moments to be had and this week Pittsburgh Penguins Tristan Jarry and Jake Guentzel created a little fun of their own when they played a hilarious game during their All-Star interviews. Not only did it create a fun moment for fans to enjoy after the fact once they had realized what was going on, but it produced some genuine laughs from both of the guys behind the mic at a time when they were no doubt faced with questions they've been asked many times before in their careers.

On Saturday the Penguins released a behind the scenes video that revealed the two players had agreed to incorporate some silly phrases into their answers during those interviews and not only did they seamlessly pull off their brilliant prank. but they also cracked each other up while doing so. The words or phrases they were asked to integrate in their interview were "hot dog", "pond hockey", and "that's Vegas baby."

It was Tristan Jarry who took the lead on this creative game with the Penguins netminder checking two of the phrases off the list almost instantly when he combined both hotdog and pond hockey into a single answer. The response from Jarry was so smooth that you wouldn't have realized he was trolling at all if it wasn't for the giant grin on his face as he delivered them, and the uncontrollable laughter that broke out from Guentzel when he realized what his teammate had just done.

Guentzel also managed to deliver a line of his own by throwing that's Vegas baby into one of his response, and much like when Jarry delivered his own answers this prompted immediate laughter from the two teammates.
