Jack Edwards goes off on NHL officiating after 2 games!

Former Boston Bruins broadcaster Jack Edwards tears into the NHL officials post-retirement.

Long time voice of the Boston Bruins Jack Edwards may no longer be a part of the Bruins broadcast but that hasn't stopped him from going off on some of his usual tirades.

We are only just 2 games into the National Hockey League's regular season and Edwards has already exploded in a new rant, using one of his social media accounts to express his displeasure with the league's officiating. It appears to have been the Bruins contest against the Montreal Canadiens that set Edwards off this time, with the veteran voice of the Bruins publishing a rant on Thursday that came while the Bruins were at home facing off against the Habs at TD Garden in Boston.

Edwards took to social media platform Reddit to express his concerns about some of the officiating in the game, and appeared to be focused in on a goal from the Bruins' Hampus Lindholm that was disallowed by the officials upon review.

"So Primeau thrusts off his line and Brazeau goes to inside ice," wrote Edwards on Reddit. "If you draw a line to the sky from the crease, the contact comes outside the crease. Next goal Montreal is going to appeal that a Bruin had a garlic garnish on his pregame and Primeau couldn’t do his job because of the Bruin’s bad breath."

Here is a look at the play in question:

He also expressed his displeasure at a call against Nikita Zadorov in the same game.

"AND MONTREAL GETS ANOTHER CALL BECAUSE ZADOROV DID HIS JOB!" wrote Edwards in capital letters.

It is unclear how much more we can expect to hear of Edwards this season, but I am almost certain that this won't be his last rant about the Bruins.
