After weeks of being one of the most heavily rumored targets ahead of the National Hockey League's trade deadline, St. Louis Blues forward Ivan Barbashev has been traded.
According to a breaking news report from TSN NHL insider Darren Dreger, Barbashev is on his way to Las Vegas after being acquired by the Golden Knights.
Dreger also reports that going back the other way is a "prospect" although the full details on the return are not clear at this time.
Update: TSN's Darren Dreger reports that 20 year old former first round pick Zachary Dean is the return going to the Blues in this trade deal.
