Horrific details of Mats Zuccarello’s injury revealed after undergoing emergency surgery!
The pain must have been excruciating! This physically one hurts to post on here.
Last week, Minnesota Wild veteran forward Mats Zuccarello was hit by teammate Brock Faber’s slap shot during the first period of a game against the visiting Montreal Canadiens. He was immediately rushed to the hospital and underwent surgery.
The team had already announced that Zuccarello would miss three to four weeks of action following the procedure.
However, what has now been revealed it was happened that forced Zuccarello to go under the knife, and let’s just say I have a feeling you’re about to suffer from physical empath.
Teammate Marcus Foligno explained on the 93X Half-Assed Morning Show that Zuccarello suffered a ruptured testicle and how the team expected him to lose one of his testicles after the puck hit it hard under the belt. Foligno however added that no testicle was removed, which is great news for Zuccarello, who still had to deal with the physical pain of the impact and surgery.
”We thought he was gonna lose one nut, but it actually survived and he’s got them both still,” Foligno said. “Poor guy got hit where the sun don’t shine and it ruptured his testicle. He can’t even lift anything.”
It had been revealed that a massive dent was left in Zuccarello’s jock strap. Thankfully, doctors expect Zuccarello to make a full recovery.
The injury is terrible, but I guess it’s comforting to know that it could have been far worse without the cup.
Now, let the poor guy rest and recover.
