Gritty Claus comes to the rescue!

Notorious Philadelphia Flyers mascot Gritty stepped up in a big way when a human Grinch decided to steal a homemade wreath from the south Philly home of a Flyers fan.

After Dan Jackson took to Twitter to announce the unfortunate news, Gritty himself announced that he was on the case and promised swift and merciless punishment for the culprits that instantly reminds one of the infamous threat from Liam Neeson's "Taken" character: 

"If you don't return the wreath, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will cake you."

Gritty then solicited the help from Flyers fans: 

"Gritizens and internet sleuths alike, the case of the stolen Gritty wreath is in your hands now. Don't let me down."

Gritty himself would then show up at Jackson's home with a replacement for the stolen wreath:
