Full lineups for Detroit Red Wings @ Ottawa Senators.
Your full lineups for what some believe is the start of a new NHL rivalry on Saturday afternoon.
The Detroit Red Wings are facing the Ottawa Senators on Saturday afternoon in what is expected to be a game with some fireworks.
Not only will this mark the first time that Red Wings star forward Alex DeBrincat will be returning to Ottawa since many believe he forced a trade to Detroit, but it will also mark the first time the Red Wings return to Ottawa since the Senators crushed their playoff hopes last season.
Add to that the fact that these two teams are divisional rivals and you have a mixture that could certainly become volatile during the course of this game, a game that even Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin acknowledged could be the start of a new rivalry.
"Absolutely it is," said Larkin when asked if today's game had any extra meaning as per Bob Duff. "You look at the Tampa game. You want to be good in your division. To be a playoff team in your division you have to be good in your division."
