Embarrassing attendance at All-Star Skills competition

Just watching the All-Star Skills competition from my television, I could tell the attendance was embarrassingly low.
Fans got talking and posted pictures and comments on social media, confirming the amount of seats available at the FLA Live Arena during Friday night’s event ahead of the All-Star Game on Saturday.

Right before players were introduced and took to the ice, reporter Taylor Hasse of Pittsburgh Hockey Now pointed that “the lower bowl is like, maybe a quarter full”.

Fans continued to post comments on the pitiful look of the arena for the Skills competition… It's really embarrassing for the NHL, who keeps coming up with new ideas and tricks to entertain the crowd. 

We can’t imagine the NHL will want to host the All-Star weekend there again, even if the players surely enjoyed the sun and beaches ahead of the event.
