Elias Pettersson injured after two goal performance last night
Another episode in the Canucks' soap opera season.
In case you missed it last night, Vancouver Canucks forward Elias Pettersson quietened all the drama surrounding himself with a stellar two goal performance in his team's victory over the visiting San Jose Sharks.
Pettersson scored two goals in 44 seconds with two perfectly placed wrist shots in the 2nd period.

Pettersson played just one shift in the 3rd period however, and it's expected that he suffered some sort of minor injury.
After the game head coach Rick Tocchet confirmed that Pettersson suffered an injury but that, "it's not too bad."

This just in, Vancouver Canucks head coach Rick Tocchet has announced that captain Quinn Hughes will be a game time decision for tonight's game against the San Jose Sharks.
Canucks insider Irfaan Gaffar reports that Hughes is battling a hand injury.
The superstar defenseman is 2nd in the NHL for scoring amongst blueliners and leads his team in scoring by a whopping 14 points. Needless to say that the Canucks will miss him dearly if he misses any significant length of time.
