Just let it die. Please let it die…

Quick… when I mention the words “Atlanta Thrashers” what’s the first thing that comes to mind? Ilya Kovalchuk? Dany Heatley? Lil’ Jon?

Personally, the first thing that I think of is their hideous baby blue jerseys with ATLANTA written down the left arm. Remember these?

In a contest of ugliest jerseys of all time, these HAVE to be in the running. The baby blue, orange and yellow clash horribly and the ATLANTA written down the arm is just flat out DUMB.
Can we please just let this fashion faux pas remain in the past?
NOPE!

Check it out:
The thing is… they actually don’t look too bad on the players. They’re certainly better than the Thrashers jerseys.
The Gladiators will debut the look tomorrow night when they take on the Orlando Solar Bears.
