Red Wings rookie forward Dylan Larkin just showed everyone that he's at the NHL level.
Larkin showed tremendous skill and poise before setting up his teammate Justin Abdelkader for his first NHL point. Abdelkader made the best of the oppurtunity, making his shot count beating Maple Leafs goaltender Jonathan Bernier in Detroit's first game against their former head coach.
Only 20 seconds after the beginning of the 2nd period, Larkin scored his first NHL goal to make it 3-0 for the Wings.
Larkin demonstrated great speed as well as his offensive prowess, and this play makes it clear he also has amazing on-ice vision. Larkin recorded 47 points in 35 games last year playing for the University of Michigan.
