Drew Doughty swears during live TV interview following Kings Game 1 win
Dewey was fired up after a wild game!
If you missed Game 1 last night between the Los Angeles Kings and Edmonton Oilers, you messed up.
You messed up big time, dawg...
The two playoff rivals put on a performance for the ages... albeit with a bit of an underwhelming finish.
The Oilers dug themselves a 4 goal deficit to the Kings but managed to tie the game at 5-5 with a gutsy individual effort with just 1:28 left in the game.

Unfortunately for the Oilers they still have Stuart Skinner between the pipes.
Because with just 42 seconds left in the game Kings forward Philip Danault managed to put the game away with a knuckle puck of a game winner.

Woof...
Skinner blows it on this play, but Evan Bouchard was truly terrible. He swats at a puck while out of position, loses a foot race, fails to tie up the screen in front and then doesn't even attempt to block a shot. Just brutal defense all around...
Immediately after the game, all Kings veteran Drew Doughty could do was laugh at the situation. After all, the Kings played absolutely stellar hockey for 40 minutes until McDavid decided he wanted to take the game over. That was Doughty's exact sentiment when he explained to Oilers media personality Gene Principe that he's thankful his team pulled off the win because otherwise it, "would’ve been a shitty game to lose.”

Just one of the game's all-time beauties...
It'll be a sad day when Doughty finally calls it a career.
