Disaster for Oilers tonight as Leon Draisaitl leaves the game with an injury
The superstar forward JUST returned to the lineup on Saturday... now this.
Edmonton Oilers superstar Leon Draisaitl has left tonight's game against the San Jose Sharks with a suspected injury.
Draisaitl, who just returned to the Oilers' lineup this past weekend after missing 4 games with a lower body injury, appeared to injure himself while fighting for a puck along the side boards and exited the game while shaking his left hand.
Check it out:
It's also worth noting that Draisaitl took a couple falls earlier in the game that could have aggravated his most recent lower body injury.
Again, Draisailt had JUST returned to the lineup for the Oilers after sustaining an injury on a hard hit from Winnipeg Jets defender Josh Morrissey back on March 20th.
Stay tuned for an official update on Draisaitl's status.
