Devils brutally troll Rangers after shutout on Saturday.

Devils deliver one of the most savage roasts you're going to see from an NHL team.

The New Jersey Devils not only won the battle on the ice on Saturday, but they also won on the social media landscape, at least as far as this writer is concerned.

The Devils faced off against the New York Rangers in what was a huge game for the Rangers on Saturday afternoon. The importance of this game for the Rangers stemmed from the fact that a victory over the Devils would have allowed them to close the gap on the Montreal Canadiens, a team currently 2 points ahead of them in the standings and the team currently sitting in the Eastern Conference's final Wild Card spot.

Unfortunately things did not go the way of the Rangers with the Devils largely dominating in this one, eventually taking a convincing 4-0 victory to send the Rangers home disappointed.

The Devils however were not done there.

As if they felt compelled to add insult to injury, the Devils social media team quickly took to social media following the game to savagely roast the Rangers over the loss. The Devils social media team capitalized on a recent incident involving the Rangers that wasn't heavily publicized, mocking the team, their team bus, and doing so in video form on their official social media accounts.

Here is a look at the hilarious video put out by the Devils following their win on Saturday:
