David Pastrnak ejected on Saturday night.
The Boston Bruins star forward was ejected after a questionable hit on Ryan Lindgren on Saturday night.
The Boston Bruins will have to play without star forward David Pastrnak for the remainder of tonight's game.
Pastrnak was ejected on Saturday night after he delivered a devastating hit to New York Rangers defenseman Ryan Lindgren. It did look as though Lindgren turned late into the hit which could have impacted the call, however the officials reviewed the play and awarded Pastrnak the 5 minute major and the game misconduct in spite of that factor.
Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery was quite vocal in his displeasure with the ruling from the officials on the ice but that will do little to wipe the major off the board.
Lindgren was leaking after getting up from the hit which may have impacted how the officials perceived the hit, and the subsequent call that followed.
