David Krejci breaks his silence
The veteran forward is all but officially retired from the NHL.

Popular veteran forward David Krejci came back to the Boston Bruins at this time last year after spending a year in his native homeland. The result was an incredible explosion of Krejci and the rest of his teammates re-writing the NHL record books with an astounding 65 victories and what nearly everyone thought was an easy path to their first Stanley Cup victory since 2011.
However, following Boston's absolutely shocking 1st round exit to the Florida Panthers despite having won a record 65 regular season games, reports have surfaced that Krejci does in fact plan to call it a career in the NHL; though no official announcement has been made as of yet. It would be the second major retirement announcement in Boston this offseason, as Patrice Bergeron made it official late last month with his announcement that his playing days were through.
But according to the man himself, he’s not quite fully decided as to the next step:
"I don't think I'm going to 99 percent start the season anywhere. In the NHL, in the Czech Republic, not even in Europe. If it takes me up until Christmas to decide, it takes until Christmas," David Krejci said.
It sounds like fans will once again be in limbo when it comes to Krejci’s future plans.
