It was a scary scene last night at FLA LIVE Arena, as Dallas Stars goaltender Scott Wedgewood was stretchered off the ice after having appeared to have suffered a serious injury:
The good news is that Wedgewood is expected to be alright, as the ailment that he suffered was simply a severe back spasm.
"We're going to go home and get him checked out, but obviously, you never like to see that," said head coach Pete DeBoer. "He's not in any danger, he's coherent, all of that stuff."
