Capitals give it to Charlie Lindgren in the best way possible after last night's all-time gaffe
Love this! That's what being a good teammate is all about!
The Caps know how to have a good time.
In case you missed it last night, Washington Capitals goaltender Charlie Lindgren had an all-time gaffe when he absolutely buried a puck in his own net (read below for last night's full report). The good news is that the team stuck with it and came back to beat the Tampa Bay Lightning, despite Lindgren's enormous mistake.
After the game, the boys awarded Lindgren with Player of the Game honors for "getting his first NHL tuck."

I swear to God I've never seen an own-goal this bad in my entire life.
Washington Capitals goaltender Charlie Lindgren absolutely FIRED a puck into his own goal this evening, burying it like captain Alex Ovechkin.
Honestly, this goal has to be seen to believed.
