The Montreal Canadiens will be without the services of forward Alex Newhook for the foreseeable future.
He suffered a high ankle sprain and will be on the shelf for at least the next 10-12 weeks:
Newhook, who is in his first season with the Canadiens, was originally selected with the 16th overall selection in the 2019 NHL Draft by the Colorado Avalanche. In 182 career NHL games, he's scored 34 goals and 45 assists.
