Breaking: McLellan announces a roster move ahead of tonight's game
Keystone Press

The Edmonton Oilers welcome the Buffalo Sabres into town tonight, as the two struggling teams get set to square off in what is seemingly a battle for a better lottery position rather than a push for the playoffs.

Todd McLellan announced that there will be a change to the lineup tonight.

Anton Slepyshev steps back in, with Mike Cammalleri taking a turn in the press box.

Slepyshev is being actively shopped per multiple reports, and perhaps the best way to build interest for him is to showcase him on the ice. He hasn't played since January 6th.

He has a mere 1 goal and 2 assists to his name this season. He's appeared in only 18 games.

Peter Chiarelli will be hard-pressed to get any value out of him, if at all, so it will take some strong performances this week and leading up to the trade deadline to inspire any general manager across the league to make an offer for his services.

The puck drops tonight at 7pm.
