The Tampa Bay Lightning have some kind of dark curse on their team this season.

The Lightning have suffered an unbelievable amount of injuries this season, to give you an example of just how bad the stiatution has been for them, they have been forced to make 24 transactions between their American Hockey League and their National Hockey League rosters in the last 24 days alone.

On Thursday the curse continued with another major injury being announced, this time it's forward Brayden Point who will miss time, four to six weeks according to an official report from the Tampa Bay Lightning's social media. 

Point is said to have suffered an upper-body injury, although when the injury occurred or any details about the specific nature of the injury have not been disclosed.
