Shocking details of Alex DeBrincat's reported contract with Red Wings

This is an absolute STUNNER from David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period. 

Minutes ago, he reported that Alex DeBrincat has in fact agreed to a new contract extension with the Red Wings, but for nowhere near as long as the reported eight year pact that he was seeking. According to Pagnotta, DeBrincat's deal with the Red Wings (once the trade goes through) will be for four years and an AAV of just under $8 million.
