Jean-Paul Parise, who passed away Wednesday night at the age of 73 after a long battle with cancer, will be remembered as an industrious NHL player who got the most out of his abilities and, after fighting tooth and nail, created an NHL career that lasted almost 900 games. He fathered another great NHLer in his son Zach, who currently graces the Minnesota Wild roster. Zach chose to play in his father's old stomping ground, even though more lucrative offers were put before him. It shows he was brought up the right way.
