If you're a younger Bruins fan you might not remember John Wensink, but you should. Towards the end of 1977 every Bruins fan wanted to be John Wensink, the man who single handedly challenged an entire team. It all happened on December 1st of that very same year, Wensink, who was a rookie at the time, took on Minnesota tough guy Minnesota’s Alex Pirus. Pirus until that point was considered one of the meaner men in the league and Wensink made him look like a little boy.
