Wayne Simmonds and Nick Foligno go toe to toe!

The Boston Bruins and the Toronto Maple Leafs clashed on Saturday night in a battle between the Atlantic Division's top two teams and it wasn't very long before things got heated between these two Stanley Cup hopefulls.

It would be two very experienced veterans who would square off and they would do so at center ice in TD Garden arena when Wayne Simmonds and Nick Foligno went toe to toe in an epic clash.

It would be Wayne Simmonds that would dominate the fight early, landing several heavy shots to the head of his opponent and even nearly dislodged Foligno's helmet with a particularly punishing blow. 

Foligno however would not go down quietly and, in spite of the fact that he took most of the punishment early on, he would rally back in this exchange and land several big shots of his own.

Both men put on an incredible display that lasted nearly a minute and, regardless of who you feel emerged victorious in this contest, they both deserved the raucous applause they received from fans in Boston when it was all said and done.
