Wayne Gretzky gets trolled by Donald Trump during Christmas visit!

Wayne Gretzky for PM – or governor!?

Chris Gosselin

During his annual Christmas message, president elect Donald Trump mocked Canada by suggesting that Wayne Gretzky should be a candidate to become Prime Minister of Canada, or as he puts it “Governor” of the country.

“I just left Wayne Gretzky, ‘The Great One’ as he is known in Ice Hockey circles,” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Christmas Day.I said, ‘Wayne, why don’t you run for Prime Minister of Canada, soon to be known as the Governor of Canada - You would win easily, you wouldn’t even have to campaign.’”

Trump added: “He had no interest, but I think the people of Canada should start a DRAFT WAYNE GRETZKY Movement. It would be so much fun to watch!”

Last month, The Great One started trending even more than he was once on ice when he and his family were spotted at an election night party for Trump.

Photos of “The Great One” in a white Make America Great Again hat surfaced and probably encouraged the president elect to make the post on Christmas Day.

Along with his post concerning Gretzky and the future of Canada, Trump also wished a a “Merry Christmas” to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau along with this message:

“Taxes are far too high, but if Canada was to become our 51st State, their Taxes would be cut by more than 60 percent, their businesses would immediately double in size, and they would be militarily protected like no other Country anywhere in the World.”

Since winning the American election over a month ago, Trump has mocked

Canada and Trudeau by referring to the country as the “51st state” and the prime minister as its “governor.”
