Video tribute to the late Johnny Gaudreau.

I would really like to tip my hat to the Columbus Blue Jackets who really nailed it with this one, capturing the essence of the man that the Gaudreau family and the hockey community have lost.

Rather than put together a highlight package that focused on his time within the Columbus Blue Jackets organization, or in the National Hockey League for that matter, the Blue Jackets instead published a video that focused on what Johnny Gaudreau was focused on, his family.

In the heart wrenching tribute to Gaudreau, we focus on his love of family with his children, wife, siblings, parents and even extended family all prominently featured throughout the video. In fact the opening moments of the video show Johnny smiling from ear to ear as he's being interview as his nieces tease him off to the side away from the camera lens.

We get to see what a genuine and down to earth man, husband, father, brother, and devoted son that Johnny Gaudreau truly was in life, and unfortunately really drives home what a wonderful young man we have lost in this senseless tragedy.

I can't even begin to imagine what the Gaudreau family is experiencing at this time, and I offer my most sincere condolences to them and all of those that have been impacted by this terrible tragedy.
