The Detroit Red Wings have placed Jakub Kindl's name on waivers today, according to TSN Bob McKenzie.
Kinda has benn an healthy scratch for the past 4 games and only 23 games this season, scoring 2 goals and 3 assists.
This move by the Wings means that Kyle Quincey is close to returning to action and Detroit needs cap space.
If Kindl clears waivers, he will be assigned to the Grand Rapids Griffins of the AHL.
