The Vegas captain goes under the knife.

Vegas Golden Knights captain Mark Stone underwent back surgery today and, according to the team, is expected to make a full recovery in time for the 2022-23 NHL season.
Stone, of course, was limited to just 37 games this past season due to a back injury and was clearly never at 100% health when he was in the lineup. It remains to be seen how he recovers from the surgery, but at 30 years old you have to be concerned about his performance moving forward.
