Tyler Bertuzzi trade pays off in his first period as a Bruin!
Bertuzzi already making his mark.
The Boston Bruins pulled off a big trade ahead of the National Hockey League's trade deadline when they acquired forward Tyler Bertuzzi from the Detroit Red Wings, and that big move has already paid dividends.
In his very first period as a Boston Bruin, Bertuzzi has found himself on the score sheet after helping create a Charlie Coyle goal that would give the Bruins the lead in the first period over the New York Rangers on Saturday afternoon.
While Coyle will get all the credit, it was Bertuzzi's dump in as well as his primary assist on the play that made the goal possible in the first place.
Welcome to the Bruins Tyler Bertuzzi!
